More Cookies. Shapes Included.

Being part of the Varsity Football Team Moms, my mom had a little task to do. Before every game we are provided with a pre-game meal which includes desserts, such as cookies or brownies. My mom decided to go all out for this. So I was forced into helping her, which was fine, but it was a lot of work, which was not fine.

First off, these cookies had to be made a day in advance because they needed to be frozen before you iced them. Second off, when they were ready, the icing wasn't easy to make because it required food coloring, and it wasn't easy to ice the cookies at all. It was probably one of the hardest things I've done culinary-wise. One mistake and the cookie was sabotaged. So my mom did them.

In the end, I think everybody on the team was satisfied with these cookies. I can safely say that they were the best cookies I've ever had... in my life. And watching my mom was like watching a professional. It was a good learning experience.

  1. Yumm...I had one of these cookies right before our game. So i can say that the tasted delicious, they had the right feeling as i bit it. They weren't soft or hard just normal. The icing tasted delicious and the sweetness overall was just correct. Mings Mom, baked them just correctly, they were not over-done. If they were, the cookies would be hard and crispy in taste. Since i watch Iron Chef America and the Food Channel, i know that the design/portrayal of the dish is very important. These cookies look very cool! They fit the theme, a football game. And they matched our jerseys, because it was an away game. The cookies had an amazing touch of design. The taste, and design of the cookies gets my 5 stars. Good Job Ms. Chung!
